Chester Library: http://www.chester-library.gti.net/ provides library services to Chester Borough and Chester Township. The library lends books, magazines, large print books, audio books, video tapes, music CDs and cassettes, children's read-a-longs, puppets and puzzles. The Chester Library can also borrow materials from libraries across the USA upon request.
The library staff will help you find the information you seek, either in-person or by phone. The on-line catalog and magazine index either be accessed in-person or via modem (973/989-5999) or telnet (main.morris.org) from home or office computer. The magazine index covers 3,000+ periodical titles and includes full-text articles from 1,000+ titles. Additional on-line periodical databases are available from the terminals in the library.
Morris County Library: http://www.gti.net/mocolib1/MCL.html is a collection of over 200,000 volumes, videos, cassettes, records, art prints and 800 serials subscriptions. We have a special collection of assistive devices for the hearing and visually impaired and have outreach programs for the homebound and special populations . Through the Morris Automated Information Network (MAIN) we provide our patrons an online library catalogue, periodical and newspaper databases and Internet access.
New York Public library (On-Lion for Kids): http://www.nypl.org/branch/kids/ is an on-line branch of the New York Public Library http://www.nypl.org/ designed to serve the needs of teens and other young people.
Library of Congress: http://www.loc.gov is the nation's oldest federal cultural institution. The library preserves a collection of more than 119 million items, more than two-thirds of which are in media other than books. These include the largest map, film and television collections in the world. In addition to its primary mission of serving the research needs of the U.S. Congress, the Library serves all Americans through its popular Web site and in its 22 reading rooms on Capitol Hill.
Internet Public library: http://www.ipl.org/ is the first comprehensive online library of and for the Internet community. The library was established as an experiment, trying to discover and promote the most effective roles and contributions of librarians to the Internet and vice versa.
The Internet public library provides access to many library services including teen and youth divisions, an on-line reference collection, and on-line texts.
