Board of Education Citizen Advisory
Committee
These guidelines have been established by the Board:
1.
The board shall define the charge and scope of the
study and establish a time schedule and request such interim reports as may be
required. The committee shall be allowed
to work freely under these guidelines.
2.
The committee shall be broadly representative of the
entire community.
3.
A Board member shall be appointed by the Board
President as liaison to the committee.
Such person or alternate shall attend all general committee meetings.
4.
The citizen advisory committee shall report directly
and only to the Board of Education. The
board shall determine what portions of the report shall be made public.
5.
The committee is ad hoc by nature; once its charge
has been completed, the committee shall be dissolved by the Board of Education.
