Weekly Update
Activities of the last week:
- Continued interior demolition – Black River Middle School
- Commenced survey and layout of new additions – Black River / Bragg / Dickerson
Scheduled Activities for the week of June 19– June 23, 2006
Overall Project:
- Commence exterior site work for new addition – Black River Middle School
- Commence exterior site work for new addition – Bragg / Dickerson
- Commence footing and foundations for new addition – Black River Middle School
- Commence interior demolition – Bragg / Dickerson
- Continue interior demolition– Black River Middle School
Impact to Students & Staff:
Noise:
- Truck traffic and large machinery on site loading and unloading
Traffic and Parking:
- Construction contractor parking is designated to the front & rear parking, not near pool parking ( Black River).
- Bragg and Dickerson parking lots are closed for public use, due to extensive site construction.
Cleanup:
- Contractors were told to pick up any debris in the area.
- Roadways will have to be kept clean in front of school and nearby roads.
