Weekly Update

Activities of the last week:

  • Commenced rough interior electrical – Bragg & Black River Middle School
  • Continued interior / exterior plumbing – Black River Middle School
  • Continued exterior site work for new addition – Black River Middle School
  • Commenced interior wall framing – Black River Middle School

Scheduled Activities for the week of July 10– July 14, 2006

Overall Project:

  • Continue exterior site work for new addition – Black River Middle School
  • Commence footing and foundations for new addition – Black River Middle School
  • Continue interior renovation layout – Bragg / Dickerson
  • Continue interior / exterior plumbing - Dickerson
  • Continue interior wall framing– Black River Middle School
  • Continue interior electrical – Black River / Bragg / Dickerson

 

Impact to Students & Staff:

 

Noise:

  1. Truck traffic and large machinery on site loading and unloading

 

Traffic and Parking:

  1. Construction contractor parking is designated to the front & rear parking, not near pool parking ( Black River).
  2. Bragg and Dickerson parking lots are closed for public use, due to extensive site construction

Cleanup:

  1. Contractors were told to pick up any debris in the area.
  2. Roadways will have to be kept clean in front of school and nearby roads.
