Chester Township Public Schools Health & PE The goal of our comprehensive health and physical education program in full compliance with New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards for Health and Physical Education and provide a quality program that empowers students to make informed decisions about issues that impact their present health, the health of their family and the health of society at-large and enable students to enact students-enhancing behaviors before damaging patterns are firmly established. These goal are designed to enhance students' ability to become cautious and competent consumers and to strengthen students' ability to recognize, analyze and react to unhealthy or dangerous situations in a safe and appropriate manner. |

The learner will be able to describe the characteristics of skilled performance in a variety of physical activities. The students will continue to develop the ability and willingness to follow rules, adjust skills, and strategies to enable cooperative competition. (NJCCCS: 2.5).
