Problem Solving: Application
The learner will be able to use manipulatives, calculators, symbols, and diagrams to solve real-world scenario problems which call for the rounding, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of decimals. This process includes evaluating a given problem scenario, identifying the problem, determining the relevant elements and the required operation, setting up a number sentence, solving the problem, and using inverse operations to check the solution.
