Parents have voiced concerns regarding their child’s pick-up time conflicting with extra activities planned for after school. In addition, cold weather is coming and waiting outside can be unpleasant. As of Wednesday, we are going to allow parents to enter the all-purpose room at 3:15 through the back door (exterior door) of the all purpose room. Children will arrive in the all-purpose room at 3:15 and the checkout staff member arrives at 3:15 as well. Please allow the checkout teacher to examine their list and request your signatures before you take your child. To access this entrance, please park in the parent area and walk around the right side of the building, crossing behind the last van, then through the recess gate to the left. Enter the door marked GYM.

Whereas, we always want to send the message to children that school is our priority, we do understand there are occasional circumstances that merit an early pick-up. Please do not come to the office prior to 3:15 to regularly request the use of the intercom to call your child. It is an unfair interruption to the remaining children who are staying for the entire day. Please follow the afore mentioned routine.

All parents should exercise extreme caution in our parking lot and NOT walk between the buses. If you are exiting the all-purpose room at dismissal, please use the all-purpose room exterior door and cross behind the last parked van bus to the parent parking area. If you are exiting the front door you must wait for the buses to depart.
