1. Consider the change in title of certain district personnel. The Superintendent had been approached to consider a change from the title of “Supervisor” to “Director” for certain personnel. Upon research, it was found that “Director” is not recognized by the state as an approved title. No changes will be made.

Policy
Reviewed the following:
· Conflict of Interest 4119.21. The committee reviewed the district’s current policy, 334, and replaced it with state coded policy 4119.21 with changes. Of particular note, changes were made to strengthen wording regarding the discussion of voting, board or collective bargaining issues between employees and students, parents or guardians.
· Conduct and Dress 4119.22. This replaces current policies 320 and 331. Added particulars regarding custodial uniforms and clothing designed to promote a message or viewpoint. Mr. Roth will review with attorney for exact wording.
· Employee Substance Abuse 4119.23. Reviewed NJSBA policy for legal references. This policy also covers gambling and smoking on school premises.
· Staff Development; Inservice Education/Visitations/Conferences. Tabled until next meeting.
3. Discussed changes in personnel. Title changes in personnel hired, but budgeted amount.
4. Substitute Lists and Salaries. Mr. Roth has been in conversation with the Mendhams regarding the sharing of sub lists and salaries in an effort to create a larger sub pool and consistency in pay.
5. Special Needs. Discussed possible hiring of additional personnel for students with special needs. Will work with CST on this.
