1.  Discussed stipend for school nurses to compile information gathered during an environmental study at each school.

2.       Policy

Reviewed the following:

·  Nepotism Certified 41112.8 and Nepotism Non-Certified 4212.8.  Discussed legalities of nepotism and required policy as mandated by the state.  Added language to include in the definition of family “unrelated persons cohabitating”. 

·  Private Tutoring 4138.2.  Discussed our current policy and problems that may arise from district personnel that offer tutoring services.  Retained existing language precluding teachers from tutoring their own students for a fee, with the exception of bedside or instrumental tutoring.  Discussed regulations that limit teachers in their ability to recommend each other as tutors.  Agreed that the district should compile a list of teachers who are willing and available for tutoring.  Expanded definition of tutoring in the policy.
