Week of 10/26- Please complete the reading for And Then There Were None (EL) if not already completed in class, write a detailed descriptive paragraph that describes the setting of the novel (Soldier Island), sketch your visualization of the island/house, and complete the character descriptions for main characters introduced through pg. 27. (Due 11/2)
- Read Don't Look Behind You (Traditional) up to page 22 if not completed in class and create a character list of the main characters who are introduced (except for Rita Greene, who is introduced and included later).
- Complete the mini-mystery "House of Horrors" in class (10/26). Should you not finish, then please complete the assignment for HW.
- Given the fact that the folks at Study Island are willing to work with us to resolve any issues that have arisen, I have extended the Plot, Setting, and Literary POV deadlines until Monday evening (10/26). The deadline for Theme is the same (10/26). Please remember to take a screen shot of your results whenever you finish. If your scores change on the screen, take a screen shot of the new score, as well. Send those screen shots to me so I may forward them to Study Island.

- Read for 20 minutes daily to prepare for book report due on Wednesday 10/7. When you present the report, please print out a copy of the rubric and an extra copy of your report/notes.
Week of 9/14- Bring a free-choice fiction book to Enrichment and ILA every day. There will be a book report assigned this week.

- The Brain Tickler Mistake that we missed is: We didn't change "Between" to "Among". "Between' deals with a comparison of two things. Ex. "Between my brother and me, I receive higher grades in ILA than he does." "Among" deals with a comparison of three or more things. "Among all my family members, my Aunt Rose seems to have the best sense of humor."
