    While I was planning my Titanic lessons I thought of this....Out there but made sense to me.

    "Our students are like icebergs....sticking out of an untamed ocean...but below the surface there is something deeper and more amazing than we will ever know..."

    PAL Project:

    6th-8th graders come during their lunch period on a rotating schedule to volunteer in the classroom.  They work on social skills and educational activities. 

    Gym PAL Project: 

    6th-8th graders go to the gym during Wednesday morning enrichment to do physical sports with the students.

    Future Teachers Club:

    8th grade students come into the classroom to work with the students on Tuesday mornings.  They create the lessons and material for the students.

    Abilities Awareness Club:

    6th-8th grade students come after school twice a month to learn about various disabilities to provide understanding, awareness, acceptance, and an education that will allow them to promote this to those who are not in the club.
