I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Robin Kaufer and I will be seeing your child for speech services this school year.  I look forward to watching your child grow and improve their speech/language skills.

 I have been working in the Chester School District for the past eight years.  I received my master’s degree from Montclair State College and my undergraduate degree from SUNY Oneonta for Elementary Education.  Additionally, I am a certified PROMPT therapist, and prior to coming to Chester, I worked for many years in a private school for children on the autistic spectrum.   I have worked in all three of the schools in Chester as well.

Your child will be asked to complete weekly home assignments.  These assignments will reflect the skills we are working on in speech.  Please monitor your child as they practice and complete their assignments and initial any worksheets or notes in the folder which will allow me to know you read the note and/or heard your child practice their work. The speech book should then be sent in with your child on the day they attend speech..
