Mr. DeLoreto graduated from Siena College with a BA in History. His career in education began as a founding teacher of a charter school in Upstate New York. Following that experience he continued to both teach and pursue a graduate degree, obtaining a Master of Arts in Education with emphasis on Special Education & Assistive Technology from College of St. Elizabeth (now St. Elizabeth University). He continued his career in districts in both Morris and Bergen Counties, serving as a Social Studies at the middle school level as well as World & U.S. History at the high school level. During that time he also focused his attention on studying educational leadership within the graduate school at New Jersey City University, obtaining a Masters of Arts degree in 2017.

Mr. DeLoreto began his career as a school administrator in a multifaceted administrative role which afforded him the opportunity to serve as the Vice Principal of a Pre-K to 8 school, his school district's Supervisor of Music & Art, and the Principal of his district's Summer Learning Acceleration Academy. While in those role, Mr. DeLoreto focused a great deal of time and energy on developing after-school learning acceleration programs, implementing Wellness Fairs at both the elementary & middle school levels, investigating strategies to support student engagement & positive behaviors, and expanding the course offerings of his district's art department.

He is looking forward to having the opportunity to collaborate with the amazing staff of Bragg School, engage Chester’s students in quality learning experiences, grow the bonds between Bragg School & the community, and foster a culture that supports the development of critical thinking skills, social-emotional knowledge, creativity, accountability, and confidence within every child.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. DeLoreto enjoys listening to audio books, watching the New Jersey Devils, volunteering, and exploring new places with his family. Mr. DeLoreto lives locally with his wife and two young children.
